Central High School Receives an "A"

Congratulations to Central High School students and staff! The Louisiana Department of Education has released the School Performance Scores of all Louisiana public high schools and Central High School received an “A” with a score of 105.9. This score reflects an increase of 8.5 points over the score received last year. We are so proud of the continued efforts of our students and staff to achieve at such high levels.

Tanglewood Elementary School is a Title I school. We receive funds to provide additional academic support and learning opportunities to help low-achieving children. The purpose of Title I funding is to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high quality education and reach, at minimum, proficiency on challenging state academic achievement standards and state academic assessments.
